Biofoam pearls:

BioFoam® is the first biologically manufactured compostable foam with properties that are similar to the features and freedom of form of EPS (also known as polystyrene foam or tempex). It may seem like a fairy tale but nothing could be further from the truth. Termokomfort®, in close collaboration with Isobouw and Synbra Technology, has successfully developed an expanded foam granule isolation system based on organic material. A patented solution makes heating and expansion possible creating a new raw material that is completely bio-degradable and is also Cradle to Cradle certified.

BioFoamPearls®, we couldn’t make it any greener…
BioFoamPearls® is almost indistinguishable from regular EPS. For the sake of recognizability the bio-degradable BioFoamPearls® shall be given a light green colour. BioFoamPearls® shall conquer the world as a compostable alternative for regular EPS injection systems. And this will result in a complete directional shift towards a greener variant for isolation materials and related construction products for which oil is currently used as raw material: BioFoampearls® reduces CO2 emissions by 70%.
