Cavity wall insulation
By installing cavity wall insulation, the loss of energy through walls is quickly reduced by more than half. Existing cavity walls are insulated using the following materials:

Sijtsma Group is a dealer for HR-Termoparel by Termokomfort Nederland bv. These EPS pearls are IKOB/BKB certified.
The Termo pearl is the only pearl that is fire-retardant in itself, which is also true for the binding agent. HR++ Termo pearls do not collapse or subside, are highly moisture resistant and have the highest insulation value which means that even in narrow cavity walls, excellent insulation results can be achieved.

- Suitable for both renovations and new-build, as well as pre-fab wooden structures.
- Guaranteed to yield a constant performance during the entire lifespan of the residence or building.
- Ensures thermal comfort in the property: internal walls are not cold to the touch anymore and there is an optimum temperature distribution in the property.
- Ensures acoustic comfort: noise is insulated from inside to outside and vice versa.
- Is water-repellent. Rain will only moisten the external walls; the moisture will not penetrate through the insulation layer to the internal wall. The wall is still allowed to ‘breathe’, because the insulation layer does allow water vapour to escape.
- Optimum filling and distribution in the cavity without moisture penetration or collapse/slumping.
- Mineral wool is not a nutrient medium for fungi or bacteria.
